Michael Yakubovsky (2018) said "the biggest take-away for me at the moment was the concept of the portfolio not being a collection of dots, but more of a journey that connects the dots." It's a living, breathing, growing, changing and evolving documentation of you. This video was posted by a classmate, Brent Mischnick in response to Michael Yakubovsky's post on ePortfolios. It's more than your average 15 minute feel good, inspirational TED talk (although I love some great TED talks). This is the WHY behind utilizing ePortfolios with students, partnered with the who, what, when and where and how. All the resources are included. Although I am not in a classroom of my own this year, I can share this with as many people as I can. I can also use it with my own children at home to help them build and show evidence of their own learning and growth as human beings in this hectic world.
